Project Improv update

Jacquie has started piecing the blocks into quilt tops.  They are beautiful!  I can't tell you the joy I felt when I saw my humble block in the second picture (here).

Today, while I was feeling the spirit of it, I dug deep into my scrap pile and made some more.  I am starting to get the hang of it.

Next up...
Asha's Easter/baptism dress
some bibs and diaper totes for RS auction night
Kai's spring/summer clothes
Heather Bailey, Freshcut quilt

Wow these are really cool blocks - I love the colours and the 'wonky-ness' of them. Really inspiring!

Your first two blocks are my favorites but they are all great!

You are getting good! I don't know the name of that fabric but I will look for it when I go back to Elaine's quilt block this weekend. I saw it there the last time I was in.

Love those blocks. So much more that I did. I think I was a little bit literal. Oh, well. Great job!

Is Asha really getting baptised? I like the squares. They are all very interesting.

I tried to leave a comment yesterday, but Jennabee turned off the computer as I was writing it.

The quilt blocks are AWESOME! I love the modern look of them.

I need to return your recital book ASAP so you can start on a dress for Asha. I assume you are going to make one from that book. Those dresses are gorgeous! I'll try to get it to you by tonight.

Oh, and the dipaer totes were a hit. Thanks again!
