I pre-washed all my cotton batting yesterday. Some of the bibs I made last year deformed after the wash because of excessive shrinking of the batting. "Warm and Natural" batting didn't shrink all that much in the wash, but the one I got at Walmart (can't remember the name) shrunk quite a bit and in an uneven way. Now I am a true believer of "Warm and Natural" and "Warm and White".

Those are great! The only thing that would improve them is a snap press - you could sell them on etsy and it would pay for itself

Two nights of baby-sitting sounds great to me. I offered a plate of spring rolls and three bibs. Came back with two loaves of wheat bread. Baby-sitting went way high.

型紙はスコットのお姉ちゃんが昔家庭科みたいなところで作ったよだれかけの形を紙に写したものなの。写して送ろうか？
battingは仕上げの好みにもよると思う。モダンなキルトならあんまりぽこぽこするのは合わないからpre-washしたほうがいいと思うけどビンテージっぽいキルトならちょっと使いこなした感じが出るようにpre-washしなくてもいいかな。でも"warm and natural"じゃなかったら洗った方がいいよ。
cute! now you have me worried about the bibs i made last night. i finally got around to trying it with the batting. not as cute as yours, but we're working on that!

Wash/dry one before you give them away. I am worried sick about the 8 I gave to my friend in San Diego, but don't have the courage to ask. My sister-in-law in Hawaii said hers are fine. She hang dries them.
