- 1 journal without a lock
- 1 mirror
- 2 lip gloss
- 2 pens
- 1 pair of sunglasses

Wow! That is a lot of treasures to carry around. It must give her a sense of comfort to know that she is always prepared. As I drive, I catch a glimpse of her, in the rear view mirror, reading her book, writing in her journal, or putting her lip gloss on to "get ready". I can't wait to see what else goes into that purse.

Cute purse - did you make it?
That is so funny what she fills it with.... it really makes sense. All she needs is a real credit card, driver's liscense and a few diapers and wipes and then you wouldn't need to carry a purse.
Alison,
The purse was on sale at Target. She paid for it from the money book. Did you notice that ring full of stuff? It is from South Philly primary. You know how they gave something laminated to put on the ring every week in sharing time? Maybe it is something they started after you left. I can't remember. My kids still treasure the little things on it. My favorite is the silver feather they got every time they memorized an article of faith.
Asha will make a great mom. She will be prepared.
She's got more in her purse than I do. And she's got a cuter purse. Ah well, the younger generation!
Jacquie,
She used to load up my bag with her stuff. I am so glad she carries her own purse now.
Oh to be six again...

Kim,
I know... but I was never a purse carrying kind of girl. Were you? Looks like Eliza will be, though, judging from that recent picture on Nigel's blog.
Asha's purse contents: so darling! Taking a picture of the contents of my purse? Terrifying! My favorite moment was when a friend and I realized that we were both carrying around one indispensable thing in our purses: kid's teeth. (Which mustn't have even ended up under anybody's pillow.)
I am so glad to see you have a blog! Woo-Hoo! Now we can keep tabs on one another. So, are you all set to move? I really feel for you. Moving is so hard and NOT fun! Pamela told me about the bibs you made for her. She is so excited! I thought it was really fun to see them on your blog! Talk to you more soon!
Cecily,
That's what I should have done with the teeth. Asha just found a few teeth in my desk drawer. I should have listened when Scott told me to just throw them away. I don't know what I thought I was going to do with them, either.
Kimberly,
We just filled up our first container from PODS, and we are feeling pretty happy. The next container is coming on Thursday and will leave on Saturday. We will be on our way on Sunday after church. I can't wait to be where you are. I like unpacking better.
I am so excited to see you have a blog. It will be nice to keep in touch. We will miss you so much. I think you can get to my blog by clicking on my name. You will see a link to my blog and then you can click on it to go. Let me know if it works.
Asha (sp?) is so cute with her little purse. She is very prepared.
Melissa,
Thank you for stopping by.
I am going to be sad to not be able to visit you any more.
How cute! I love seeing what treasures are in my niece’s purses.
