Moving North

Not much progress in the creative department.  I did make a bib for my friend (forgot to take a picture) to give along with a gift card.  She liked it and asked me if I could make several more to match different outfits.  I am excited that I finally have a chance to do something for her.  She has given Kai and Quinn hundreds of dollors worth of nice boy clothes that her boy grew out of.  She is going to come and look through my fabric stash to choose what she wants for the bibs.  I am curious to see what she chooses because she has very good taste.

Adrianne and I took the kids to the YMCA pool this morning.  We decided to go once a week until we move away.  The first picture is Hannah and Kai.  The next picture is of Grant and Quinn on the pool side.  They both love the water too.  Quinn was arching and diving full strength trying to touch the water!

So, that leads to our recent news.  We are moving to Eastern Washington next month.  Scott is going to work for his family's company.  We are excited for the opportunity and the chance to live close to many family members.  We will miss Stu and Adrianne, and all our friends here.  Bye-bye sunny San Diego.

I was wondering what was going on - I didn't think the teething would keep you away for so long.

I'm excited for you guys but regret not making it down to see you in San Diego.

Good news is we are heading to Spokane later in the summer and we seem to end up visiting there once a year.

Hope the move goes smoothly

so much for my already-unnecessary pep talk about making friends while you still have time :-)

I'm excited for you to be in Pullman. Though it's not any closer to New York, at least we will have the guarantee of seeing you when we are visiting Pullman.

i don't even know what to write! stu says to write "we are heartbroken!" and we are!

we're so sad to see you guys leave - it wasn't supposed to end like this. i still have projects to do and we were supposed to have bbq's for the rest of the summer.

we love you guys and are going to miss you so much. i'm looking forward to my master's suite at your new place! :)

Marie,
That is so exciting for you guys and sad for Stu and Adrianne! I can image how hard that would be to loose not only a sister-in-law but a friend as your neighbor. I hope the move goes well and you enjoy your time before your move! The pool time looks like great fun! It will be so great to see you guys in Pullman when we visit!

Kim,
Scott read the comment and said it was not Nigel, but you, Kim. So, thank you for the comment. And... I am waiting to see your blog.

Wooohooo! We are SO EXCITED that you're coming!! No on is as excited as Caroline, who is SO HAPPY to have a fellow hamster to hang with. Now that you're really coming, I'm feeling a bit self conscious about all the things you're leaving: fantastic shopping! Idea weather! Living by Stu & Adrianne! The beach! You're getting. . . more Cougar sports? Thanks for making the sacrifice

On the flip side, $4.29/gallon for us equals cheep gas.

See you in four weeks!

Alison,
You are right. My free time has been consumed by house hunting. I know every single house for sale on Military Hill, the side of town we are looking.

It is funny we are more likely to get your visit by moving to Pullman. I can't wait to show you the BEAUTIFUL rolling hills. It is breath taking!

Gillian,
I took your great advice to heart, and have been busy with social activities.

Enjoy the rest of the time in Pullman.

Adrianne,
You are going to have to bring all your projects to Pullman, and Scott will BBQ for you while we sew.

We will work on the masters suite, but it may take a while. You are always welcome to stay in our 4 star tent in the yard with two queen beds. I know Hannah would be delighted.

Tine,
Thank you for your kind wishes!

Nigel,
Thank you for commenting. I know you are really busy, but Scott and I have been looking forward to your post.
