Fabric diet, ended

This is what I come home with when my hubby rents Wii for Friday night fun with the kids, and tells me to go shopping alone.  My seven month long fabric diet came to an end, at Walmart, of all places.

Marie,
that is so great. I am taking a page out of your book and trying to use what I have for awhile. unlike you (who finishes your projects) I am making myself finish some projects that got left unfinished. I am excited to see what you create next!

Kim,
You are always so sweet to leave nice and thoughtful comments on my blog.

I think finishing up WIP projects is a great idea. I do have a few. I will post about them in the next post.

I love the blue and brown dots! Do you already have projects in mind for the fabrics?

"Fabric Diet." That is so funny. I think I've been on a new clothes and hair cut diet since we moved here. I'm glad you got to have a night to yourself to enjoy doing something you love!

Great new fabric. The fabric diet is the hardest one to stay on I've found :)

Allison,
The brown and aqua dots are for Asha's twirly skirt. I want to make the next size up of this one.

The blacks and hot pink animal print are for girl bibs, and the reds are for quilts.

Can't think of anything better than fabric to get at WalMart - besides, who knows when you might need it! :)

You've got self control - 7 months! I should try it until we finally move

What are you planning anyways? Don't plan anything until I send your books because there are some really cute things in there

Actually that was just me. But I'm sure Inch would agree with what I said. You can tell Jerome about the new blog title - the boys are all in on it and will keep it updated

Looks like Asha is going to have a new wardrobe. I guess that will teach the hubby to send you off on Friday nights alone.
