I love Amy Butler's fabric. The pattern and colors are so pretty that you don't need to do much to make something really cute. If only I had enough fabric to make one for myself.

A simple skirt for Asha
A simple skirt for Asha. I used the elastic with button holes from Asha's old adjustable pants so she can fit it to her comfort.

love the color choices! you're making me want to make one for hannah.
Adrianne,
Make one! It is so easy, and yet so cute. I folded the bottom fabric in two and sewed together the two seams and the bottom of the top fabric all together so I didn't have to hem the bottom. Iron and top stitch, and all you have left is the elastic. I have a few dresses and skirts I can turn into Asha skirts. I can't wait for spring!
so cute! love these fabrics....i've been wishing for these...i might have to give in.
The fabric is really great. It turned out cute! I bet Asha loves it.
very cute - you do have an amazing fabric stash!
Marie,
the skirt turned out really cute! I love the colors and patterns together.

That is gorgeous! You should make a matching one for you!
Serious, when you get done with yours, I want one too.

I love the green. So simple, so clean. And what a GREAT way to recycle old elastic. I'm gonna try that too!
Love the skirt - Amy Butler fabric really does make anything better, but that pattern is darling too. Good job!
