The skirt I had made for my niece was too small, so here is another one I came up with. I paired it with a shirt from Pumpkin Patch.
Women's Conference was up-lifting in every aspect. Inspiring talks, delicious food (Scott's mom treated us to the buffet at the top of Joseph Smith building!), fun shopping, and great company. I ran into several old friends from Pittsburgh and San Diego as well. I was too busy having fun to remember to pull out my camera, but I did capture sister-in-law Kersten during her book signing at the BYU book store.
The mad run through campus in flats to John Bythway's class left me with sore feet. Having to hold up my pants the whole time didn't help, either. Note to myself: Bring a belt and running shoes next time.

Marie,
I love the skirt. conference looks like so much fun.
Kim,
We missed you! Maybe next year?
なんとも和風な生地だね。上下いい組み合わせで、喜ぶだろうね。
Sounds action packed! Post some of your notes if you can.
I like the Japanese fabric you used.
カローラちゃん
スカートに使った布は両方ともキルト用の布でこっちのものなんだけど微妙に和してるでしょ。
Alison,
I don't know if my notes will do you any good, but I will look through it and see. I usually take notes by writing down what comes to my mind, not necessary what the speaker says.
Love the skirt! Glad you had a great time at conference- how fun to see so many friends!
Hey, I didn't realize the skirt was cut with swirls before - that makes it doubley cute!
