If you want a quick and satisfying project, this is it!
I made size 8, after I read a few reviews that said the pattern runs big. I am happy I did. The fabric is a poly blend I got a long time ago at Vogue Fabric in Evanston.
Alison, Hmmmm, that is a good question. I see that size 8 is the smallest the pattern comes. It is written to be loose and baggy, but it is so much cuter when you make a smaller size and wear it more fitted. Also, the neckline is quite open when you make the true size. Making a smaller size solves that problem, too.
Buy the pattern when it is 99 cents, and then see if you can fix the pattern down to your size. I just know that size 8 would be way too big for you.
The pants are from BCBG. I can't wait for summer when I can wear them every time they come out of the washer.
Where or where has my little friend gone? You are disappearing right before my eyes!!!! You look fantastic! Well the parts of you I could see in your picture. Love all the new sewing projects. Particularly love the fabric on Asha's skirt...the green one. So cute. And the frame project, wow! Looks fantastic. Hope you are doing great. So fun to catch up on your blog!!
I found your blog through Crazy Mom quilts....your stuff is gorgeous! I especially love the green skirt that you made...great fabric! I am also a SAHM and quilter. :)

I'm jealous of all your productivity but so inspired
the shirt turned out so cute and I'd like to make one but what size would you recommend?
Are those your BCBG pants? they look great with the shirt
SO cute! And really? a size 8? You look like a size 1. SERIOUSLY.

Okay, I am buying that pattern. It looks awesome! Great job!
I really love the fabric you used! (And bummed that the pattern doesn't come in my size).
Thanks for the great skirt book. I think it will keep me busy for a while. My head is swimming with ideas after looking through it!
